What lens quality do you want? From basic uncoated (free!) to super thin with multiple coatings, you can choose exactly what you want and know you’re getting the best possible value.

Standard uncoated

FREE!

We don’t charge anything for single vision lenses & we carry nearly all prescriptions in stock so glasses ready in 1-2 days.

These are uncoated and included in the price of the glasses frames.

Thinner uncoated

$40

Thinner lenses without coatings.

Better for higher prescriptions to reduce visual distortion and weight.

These retail typically for $150+

These lenses are in stock, so glasses ready in 1-2 days.

Ultimate thin, coated

$80

The thinnest possible lenses. Great for high prescriptions. Also includes anti-reflective, scratch resistant & easy clean coatings.

Typically retail for $250+

Single vision

FREE!

We don’t charge anything for single vision lenses & we carry nearly all prescriptions in stock so glasses ready in 1-2 days.

These are uncoated and included in the price of the glasses frames.

Progressives & Bifocal

from $120

Regular progressives and also bifocals are just $90. These are not stocked and take around 2 weeks to be ready. Regular progressives have a narrower field of vision in the reading part, but are usually fine everyday use.

Wide progressives

$90

These progressives give maximum vision without distortion by having extra wide vision areas for both the distance and reading parts of the lens. These give better distortion-free vision – great for active lifestyles.

Lens tints

Our most popular lens tint & colour options. Clear is free and all the others are great value!

Clear lenses

FREE!

We don’t charge anything for clear lenses. So if all you need is single vision, uncoated & clear lenses then we will fit these to your chosen frames at no extra cost!

Sunglass tinting

$50

Enjoy life much better without having to squint or use fitovers! At this price it makes it easy to have a pair of clear glasses for everyday use and a pair of prescription sunglasses to keep in your car or for outdoor activities! The two colour options we offer are brown or grey.

Photochromic lenses

$80

Photochromic lenses quickly go clear when worn inside and dark outside, especially in bright sunlight. Saves you having to have two pairs of glasses. Commonly known as transitions. You can get either brown or grey tint for the dark aspect of the lenses.

Polarised lenses

$120

Polarized lenses reduce glare and reflected light much more effectively than a sunglass tint. Great for driving or any activities around water. Our polarized lenses are available in either brown or grey colour.

Blue light filter lenses

$30

Do a lot of screentime? Blue light filter glasses effectively block out the light that screens emit that can cause headaches and eyestrain. Although there is no clear evidence that blue light damages your eyes, there is plenty of evidence that they do make life much better for regular screen users!

Safety lenses

Do you need to wear safety glasses at work but find clumsy fit-over safety glasses a hassle? Our range of prescription safety glasses comply with NZ standards.
For just $80 you can get photochromic lenses added to any prescription.
